My new avatar. Expressing my depression because I can’t go to the xx concert in august.
Just did a mix, listening to some Daft Punk while I’m waiting for the birthday messages to flood into my facebook. Future is bright 10 year old me.
This mix contains multiple genres from downright radio top 40 filth, bubbling about to be mainstream, that song from that movie, I’m too young for this song and also classic hip-stirring melodies.
A gift to broaden minds and musical taste buds alike. Unless you listen to Taylor Swift then…
Well I posted another mix playlist for you !
Hello ten year old me. So you made it the 2nd decade of your life. Pretty cool right ? Well growing up is cool but you realize all of the stuff you miss.
Why didn’t we write a letter for us when we were born ? Well for one, we both know that we learn how to read at the age of 7. At 10 we didn’t really care for anything except for who was the best Pokemon trainer in school.
We grow up to be pretty cool. You’re going to watch a movie that will completely change your life. Your views on life and music will be further enhanced. Keep looking out for that movie.
Your formative years are different so they won’t righty fit into where you’re going to be and people won’t understand you. But you’re strong and you won’t mind. They’ll call you names and your taste in matters won’t be widely accepted but they matter to you. You’ll be cultured and have a broader range of opinion. That’s why they won’t understand.
So here are some yearly highlights of your life.
At 11 years old, you’re going to learn about how you’re not an underachiever and money is a thing.
At 12, you get to move to Australia and live in Perth. You’ll discover soccer and a crew so dope, you’ll stick with them until you’re 20. And counting.
At 13, you learn what it means to be cool and you decide who you really are.
At 14, you learn how to be the starter and the underdog.
At 15, you learn about the joys of studying. And you’ll miss out a lot.
At 16, you learn how to make do. You’ll learn that some of your skills needs to be nurtured and the others could be your downfall.
At 17 years old, you’ll work hard and figure out somethings about life. Music taste enhances and the movie happens.
At 18 you’ll get reconnected with your friends and it was dope. Around this age you will forget how to speak french.
At 19, you get into a university where your skills as a procrastinator is trained to world standards. Yeay.
At 20 you learn about how unpredictable life is.
What ? I don’t make sense ? Well you’ll get here. You will and the girls will be there and the music will be there and the movies will be there and Tina Fey will be there and your friends will be there. You’ll meet them. You’ll grow but you will never mature.
You are, by definition, qualified to be an engineer. But you still play Pokemon and Adventure Time is a great tv show. Hey hey !
You procrastinated too long to write this. You’ll only be 20 for another day. Good work !
